Editorial policy

What we will cite, how a cell earns a badge, and the licence on the wiki tables we adapted.

Scope

This policy covers Huss Valley Guide, the fan site for Roblox place 107535308163741. Pages are in English. The editor is Rowan Pike of the Valley Field Notes Team. The contact address is [email protected].

We write about one experience. Escape Huss Valley, Ve3’s Huss Valley, Survive In Huss Valley, A Night In Huss Valley, the Meta Quest game, and the Folk Valley meme are named only so a reader can tell them apart, and only with the place ID when they have one. Their codes, controls and endings are not copied onto this game’s pages.

Badges

Every measurable value lives in one data file and is rendered from that file, so a number in a table cannot drift away from its source. Four statuses are allowed:

  • Official — a Roblox API response or a Roblox policy page, with the day we read it. Official does not mean permanent. A pass price is official for that snapshot and can still change tomorrow.
  • Reported — a guide, a community wiki, or a published screenshot. The badge names the source and the day we read it, and it says the value is not yet tested in-game.
  • Tested — a measurement this site took in a live server, with the date. No row has this status on the day of launch.
  • Pending — value null. The page prints “Pending in-game test” and does not substitute a guess. If the missing fact is a future announcement rather than a measurement, the same empty value prints “To be announced.”

If two sources disagree and we cannot show which reading is newer from the documents themselves, the value stays out and the conflict is noted. The Roblox Den code list is the worked example: it is kept in the source ledger as an excluded source, and its strings are not promoted into the codes table.

How a test gets filed

The tester’s checklist is the key set in the measurement file: movement, the four maps, seven abilities, three consumables, two crates, and per-match income. A filed test replaces null with a value, sets the status to tested, names the tester, and sets the date. Method belongs in the note: where the start line was, whether abilities were off, how many matches were in the average. A sample size is published with an average or the average is not published.

Crate odds are a special case. Roblox requires paid random items to show numeric odds before purchase, so the in-game crate screen outranks the wiki table. Our calculator can run before that comparison is done. It says so in the table. A test that checks the screen either confirms the wiki chances or replaces them. It does not average the two.

Code tests are a redeem. The observed reward is what the screen gave, which may differ from the reported reward. Both columns stay.

What we refuse

We do not publish or link to cheats, exploits, scripts, speed scripts, executors, or auto-farm tools. We do not run ads or analytics. We do not embed social posts or Discord invites. We do not invent event rewards, removal dates, or damage stats for knife skins. We do not present a Roblox API snapshot as a live counter.

Corrections

Email the page URL, the sentence or cell that looks wrong, and the better source. A shop screenshot needs the place ID visible and the date you took it. We would rather delay a correction by a day than accept a number we cannot re-read. Legal and privacy notes are on the privacy page. The contact page is the same address, with the list of what to include.

Community wiki tables

Knife names, obtainment lines, crate chances, the map list, and the “all crates are limited” line are adapted from the Huss Valley Roblox Fandom wiki. That wiki’s text is available under Creative Commons. Our adaptation keeps the link to the specific page on every table that uses it.

Knife, crate and map data from the Huss Valley Roblox Fandom wiki (Knife Skins, Crates, Maps), licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0; adapted into tables by Huss Valley Guide. Our adapted tables are shared under the same license.

The sentence we print on those pages is the obligation: credit the wiki, credit this adaptation, and share the adapted tables under the same licence. Prose that is not an adaptation of a wiki article is not swept into that grant by being on the same page. If you reuse a table, keep the status badges. Stripping “reported” off a chance and presenting it as tested would misstate both their work and ours.

Source ledger

Every id below is a source a page is allowed to cite, or — in one case — a source we keep on the record in order to reject it. The read date is 12 October 2026 unless the entry says otherwise.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does Pending in-game test mean?

The value is the kind of thing a stopwatch, a shop screen, or a redeem box can answer, and we have not done that yet. The cell is empty. We do not print a community average to hide the gap.

What does To be announced mean?

A future reward or a later event that no source has named. It is different from pending: we are not waiting on our own test, we are waiting on an announcement. When the announcement exists, the line changes and keeps its date.

Can I reuse your tables?

The tables adapted from the Huss Valley Roblox Fandom wiki are shared under CC BY-SA 3.0, the same licence we received them under. Credit the wiki and this site, and share adaptations under the same licence. Our original prose is not a wiki article.

How do I get a correction in?

Email [email protected] with the page address and the source or the test. Confirmed mistakes are changed in the data file, not buried in a comment. The page's updated date moves with the change.
